The Bat Tree

Look! See that tall tree? Thats known as the Bat Tree. At night hundreds of bats fly from their den place in the hole close to the top of the tree. It gives the apprentices quite a scare when it's their first time out! But during the day mice often are found here, and sometimes the odd rabbit, as well as many birds! There aren't so many herbs here though - poppy seed, yarrow and a few others. But it is a great source of cobwebs, and sometimes honey if you can climb high enough in the tree without getting stung!
